July Meeting Notes and Officer Reports
July 2017
Meeting opened at: 8:00pm
Second quarter reports are due for almost all offices.
OLD BUSINESS
Pennsic
Pennsic sheetwalls are done. All that is needed is to put the grommets in. There was a choice to reorder the black fabric because it was too much like parachute fabric. So the salamanders should be redone before Pennsic if possible.
94 pre-regs for Bhakail Camp. We have almost the whole block. There will be a lot less compression than last year. The shower is coming along very well, but could use some extra hands on the 22nd. Darmon and Yoshi have been working on it for a long time. Darmon is hoping to get to troll as soon as it opens. There will be quite a few newbies with us.
Filk night will be Friday night. Period games and music on Tuesday of war week. There will be quite a few peers taking students and such that evening as well. They are still working on retainer schedule. Opening ceremonies is Saturday evening. EK court is Wednesday night. Monday is Runnymede. There will be a tentative schedule for camp meetings. There may be a Pennsic specific one for that on the website soon.
Plans to deliver and provide ice for youth fighters. Dayna volunteered to help deliver it.
Champions and Commons
Champions have been contacted and are planning their challenges. Possibly a tavern brawl. Permit has been gotten and all things are looking set.
River Wars
We are supposed to field a rapier team of five people, one of which lives in the barony, as well as a heavy team of five, one of which lives in the barony. We will be lending them our banners.
