Chancellor Minor

I have passed the SCA background check that is required every 2 years to maintain my warrant as a Youth Officer.

There will be youth activities at Yule. As Medieval Yule celebrations included mumming we will be making masks and having a parade to show off our masks. Adults are also encouraged to make a mask and join in the fun. As gaming was also part of the celebrations there will be games available and the children will be able to make their own Fox and Geese or Nine Man’s Morris game to take home.

 If you are planning an event within the Barony and would like to have youth activities please send me an email at youth@bhakail.eastkingdom.org.

In service to the Barony.

Canton Report

The Month of September was a trial of horrors and intrigue for the Canton of Black Icorndall.

With news of Their Excellencies’ impending Stepping down from office, we in the Canton were left bereft and adrift on a floating tag end of jetsam without emotional clothes.

Naked. Covered in nothing but a fine sheen of emotional nudity. Nekid.

Then, from another quarter, the foundations of our world began to spiral out of control, as the ever efficient Baroness Suba the Overnamed also hoisted anchor, with the announcement that she would be sailing for different waters than those we had all known and been comforted by, and would no longer be the Baronial Seneschal.

We in the Canton almost didn’t notice the sneak attack by Llewellen Lamhaphaddanallan, and his 88 Thieves, all twelve of them, who attempted to bravely sneak into our lands, stealing all things cheese. Beating them to death was the only solace the children of the Canton enjoyed that awful month of September.

Equilibrium had almost been reclaimed by the Good Icorndallians, when they were once again rocked, like a hurricane, by news that their Seneschal, THL Muin maqq Minain, Great Khan of the Pictish Horde, Warlord of the House of the Red, Creator of the Three Goose Lottery, and Light at End of the Tunnel, would attempt to step up to take the Seneschal’s Office for the Barony, but leave the Seneschal’s office of the Canton.

A great Cry escaped the throats of the people of Egypt, but it was drowned out by the screams of the Icorndallians.

YIS;

Muin
