Barony of Bhakail Meeting Notes: November 14, 2023
Events
PAX
PAX is coming. No major updates from last business meeting on plans.
Yule
Scolastica reported that yule is progressing. She has sent out signup requests for staff, and encourages people to sign up to volunteer for a shift; nothing is complicated. Discussion of when preregistration will close. There will be registration allowed at the door.
Tavern
There is one bid that has been reviewed and approved by the council of the exchequer. Vote was held to accept the bid.
Waking of the Salamander
No bids yet. Eirik commented that he is interested in submitting a bid, and is looking for someone to partner with who has not had an opportunity to run an event in the past.
Old Business
Archery Marshal
One letter of intent was submitted by Ellyn Grene. Vote was held by acclamation. Maryna was thanked again for her service in getting archery practices going in Bhakail during the pandemic.
Baronial Inventory
Is scheduled to happen the weekend after Thanksgiving, on both Saturday and Sunday at Mikael’s. All who can help are welcomed!
New Business
Plans for Seneschal
An emergency deputy seneschal is needed. If you are interested, please contact Mael Eion or Eirik if you have any questions or are interested in the position.
