Polling to extend Baron Muin’s term by one year
Greetings unto the Barony!
Per our customs, our seated Baron(s) and/or Baroness(es) serve an initial term of 4 years with the possibility to extend another 1 or 2 years. That request must be made no later than 9 months before the end of the 4 year term.
His Excellency is requesting a single year extension and we need a simple majority of responses of eligible members to grant his wish to continue serving the Barony.
Our policies state that we must have a formal polling of local, paid members via anonymous ballots. As such, I have set up a poll which I will send to anyone that requests a ballot. Once I check your eligibility (anyone residing within our borders or an officer residing outside of our borders and that your membership is up to date) I will provide a link to the ballot and a unique code for you to use. The code can only be used once and while I can tell who was given which code, I cannot see actual votes cast, nor can I see any results until the vote is closed, which I will do at the February business meeting.
